We offer both Alexanderite for light skin tones and nd:Yag laser for dark and tanned skin. About six treatments necessary for 90-100 percent reduction, but results visible after 1st treatment with significant slowing down in growth, reduced density and thickness of hair. Treatments once a month to once in two months. Please schedule an appointment to evaluate your future benefits.

Any body part may be treated but periorbital area (around eyes).

I've been to three or four places for laser hair removal, and this place is by far the best.

At other places, even after 6 treatments there was no reduction in hair growth. Here, I saw

results from the first session.  After treatment the hair will grow very slowly, fall out after 2 weeks, and then grow very slowly again.  When hair grows back it appears thinner and lighter.  It usually takes 6 sessions to have a major improvement.  I still come back occasionally for touch ups and am starting a new package for my legs.

Daria is amazing.  She's very professional, knowledgeable, and patient.  She's very thorough and makes sure I am satisfied with the service.  She doesn't try to pressure me about getting other services and is very honest about the results I should expect.  I would highly recommend this place.

How does the laser work?
Laser light, picked up by melanin in the hair, heats up the follicle, destroying the root and nourishment, so new hair will not grow. Modern hi-teck lasers allow highly effective treatments without damaging or discomforting the skin.

How safe is laser treatment?
Treatments are extremely safe and proven to have no permanent side effects. Lasers have been used in medicine for a wide range of treatments since the early 1960s by many specialties, including dermatology and plastic surgery.

Does Laser Hair Removal Hurt?
With the best cooling systems offered at SereneMax Laser Spa the treatments are not only effective, but also very comfortable. We invest in quality and your satisfaction, which we proudly call our goal. Laser pulse feels like a slight rubber sting. Please keep in mind that some body parts are more sensitive than other, so for increased comfort numbing is offered before treatment.

Am I a good candidate for laser hair removal?
Both man and woman can get it done. Major requirement is that your hair is darker than your skin. At SereneMax each treatment is customized to give the most result and you will be given the estimate of your particular expected benefit during complementary consultation.  Only latest FDA-approved lasers are used, and cover the entire spectrum of hair and skin colors. Please note no IPL are utilized for hair treatments as genuine lasers are proven to give superior clearance and longer term effects.

Is the treatment effective for all skin types?
Yes. Lasers at SereneMax Are FDA approved for all skin types and also tanned skin.

How Many Laser Hair Removal Sessions Does It Take?
It depends on desirable result. For thinning out as little as 3 treatment is enough, if
'Bare' is what you want to call yourself anything from 5 to 8 treatments 4 to 8 weeks apart will be needed. Results vary depending of the body part, ethnicity, hormones, medication and metabolism, thickness and color of hair.

How long does the Laser Hair Removal Treatment takes?
In most cases it depends on the area. Here are some commonly treated areas and the length of the procedure: armpits and chin - 5 minutes; face and bikini - 15 minutes; full leg, full back, chest and stomach - 1 hour, but every patient is unique. Inquire during the consultation about the time your particular session will take.

How Much Does It Cost?
Price is based on the size of the area to be treated and given during consultation. With the regular recommended waxing regimen once a month you start saving in YEAR AND A HALF! And that is not mentioning in most cases only 6 treatments is enough. Also you will not need to grow hair in between sessions, so you can be smooth all the time, not only immediately after treatment like with waxing.

What Areas Can Be Treated?
All areas can be treated (excluding periorbital):

Facial Area: Scalp, Hairline, Forehead, Eyebrow Center, Ears, Nose/Nostrils, Cheeks, Sideburns, Lip, Chin, Full Face w/Front neck.

Upper Body: Neck (front), Neck (back), Breasts, Nipples (areola), Chest, Abdomen (full), Abdomen (line), Chest and stomach, Underarms, Half Arm, Full Arm, Hands/fingers, Shoulders, Back.

Lower Body: Buttocks, Bikini Line, Brazilian, Deep Bikini (French), Half Leg, Full Leg, Full Leg, Scrotum, Penis Shaft, Inner Buttocks.

How should I prepare for treatment?
You may shave within 24 hours before treatment. Please avoid waxing or removing hair from the follicle starting at least 2 weeks before scheduled session.

How does my skin look and feel after laser hair removal?
Most patients experience very little to no erythema (reddening of surrounding tissue) immediately after session lasting 10 minutes to few hours depending on area and hair density and thickness. You can return to your regular activities immediately after treatment.

What do I expect after treatment?
Within 2.5 weeks treated hair will very slowly grow and fall out leaving the surface of skin hairless and silky smooth. Exfoliating gently can help speed up the process. New hair growth will start approximately 4 weeks from the last treatment. You may shave this hair as much as you need.

What results can I expect from laser hair removal?
At the end of the laser hair removal treatment program you can expect your skin to remain smooth and 90-100 percent hair-free. Each individual prognosis is given during consultation.
